Why Xoolon?
Xoolon (Xoo'-lon: pronounced 'Zoolon', from the greek for 'a tool of magical powers') is an interactive sports community bringing together pupils, clubs, associations and governing bodies within the sporting industry. It is used within schools and clubs to:

Raise the profile of less well known sports.

Provide equal opportunities regardless of background and make sport accessible to all.

Support sporting excellence by identifying talented individuals.

Monitor improvement over time.

Introduce students to local facilities and organisations.

Make pupils aware of careers in the industry.

Support the 2012 legacy.

Promote the importance of regular exercise.

Provide access to information on all sports.

Give all pupils a sense of achievement regardless of ability.

Encourage all parties with an interest in the health and well being of young people to work together.

Aid schools in achieving the Healthy School status.

Make results clear and accessible to teachers, heads and governors.

Increase OFSTED grading in areas including ICT, PSC and PE.
